Relationship proof may be required in the form of a passport, birth/marriage certificate, or other valid documents.

Family maintenance remittances fall under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) and are available to resident individuals in India. Corporates are not eligible under this category.

Under LRS, an individual can remit up to USD 250,000 per financial year for all permissible purposes, including family maintenance.

We use:

This code ensures the remittance is properly categorized and reported to RBI.
